Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
• Onsite Project Management:
• Be present on site to oversee the day-to-day renovation activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors for materials, designs, and project updates.
• Interior Design Support:
• Assist in designing and implementing interior layouts, and selecting materials, finishes, and furniture.
• Work closely with the homeowner to understand design preferences and implement them creatively.
• Prepare design sketches, mood boards, and material selection for various parts of the house.
• Engaging and Managing Contractors:
• Source and hire skilled contractors for specialized tasks (e.g., carpenters, electricians, painters).
• Handle negotiations and agreements with contractors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Quality Assurance:
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets the required design specifications and quality standards.
• Suggest improvements or changes if needed and ensure they are implemented correctly.
