As a Maintenance Mechanic, youll help bring cereal to customers by ensuring our production equipment is operating efficiently. You will have the chance to work on a variety of mechanical equipment from production to packaging in the plant, as well as collaborate with operations, safety, and expert maintenance leadership!

Heres a Taste Of What Youll Be Doing
• Conducting Preventative MaintenancePerform basic troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on production equipment as well as building. Youll aim for excellence every day, helping us bring the best to families!
• Ensuring Performance EfficiencyManage machine performance by supporting Operations when they encounter mechanical failures or issues doing production as well as equipment set-up and change overs. Were looking for someone who brings dedication to the table!
• Following Best PracticesUnderstand, follow and enforce all established guidelines. Your attention to detail will ensure compliance with all safety, health, quality and company policies, procedures and recognized practices. Youll help us keep delivering success!

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
• Basic knowledge of troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment
• High School diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems
• Sitting, standing, walking, lifting and / or repetitive tasks throughout the day. Employee will be required to occasionally lift up to 50lbs

Bonus Points
• Journeymans OR Mechanical/Technical Degree OR 4year of equivalent experience
• Previous experience in food manufacturing
• Experience with troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Previous welding experience
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
