  • Category: Work from home Jobs
  • Location: Welwyn, England
  • Job Type: Full Time / Part Time
  • Salary: Estimated: $ 15K to 18K

Job description
CPRE Hertfordshire is a long-standing and well-regarded environmental charity dedicated to protecting, promoting and enhancing the Hertfordshire countryside, for everyone. By applying your skills and experience, you’ll be making a real difference and helping us find positive solutions for the issues facing the countryside and the environment.

Our social media channels, currently Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, play a key role in bringing our work to a wider audience and attracting new supporters.

This is a desk-based online research role. You will research key 2025 ‘awareness’ dates for our charity, e.g. environmental days, and the organisations that drive these campaigns. You will also research new platforms such as BlueSky. Depending upon your interest, skills and availability, you may also create content for use in our social media.

In this role you will work independently and report to our Chief Executive. The role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the UK.

Time commitment is flexible, but we would like to have this research completed by late February. We estimate it would take 3-4 days’ time, but this can be spread out over several weeks, and can be done on evenings and weekends to suit your availability.

You will need to be available on a weekday for a briefing (video or phone call) at the start of the assignment and again at the conclusion.

What will you be doing?

You will use your social media marketing experience to:
• Identify and research national and international ‘awareness’ dates in 2025 that are of relevance to CPRE Hertfordshire. These will include environmental days, charity days, volunteer celebratory days, etc.
• Research the organisations (incl. their social media accounts) that drive these dates.
• Identify social media assets that these organisations may make available for others such as CPRE Hertfordshire to utilise.
• Compile your research into an Excel spreadsheet so that our charity can then easily plan and manage our social media activity around the relevant dates.
• Research and present your findings regarding emerging social media platforms including BlueSky, including their use by other charitable organisations, target demographics, and pros and cons for CPRE Hertfordshire.
