We are the powerhouse behind the scenes building the provisioning and activation tech for seamless onboarding of Users, Services and Resources into today´s networks and the networks of the future. We are at the forefront of Ericsson’s 5G core development enabled by a Cloud Native architecture. Our Great Opportunity We are happy to announce an open position in our System Test team. You will be a member of a group of expert testers and developers, securing the quality on our EDA product by identify, develop and automate test cases for daily builds focusing on system verification. In our test suite we run 15000+ test cases every night. Fully automated. You will learn EDA, end to end and have a fantastic understanding of 5G provisioning. What you will do • Analyze and take action on the outcome of daily builds • Automate newly identified test cases • Actively help out in customer support situations • Create and conclude trouble reports and update it with recommended solutions towards the Design Maintenance team when identifying SW bugs • Act as single point of contact towards our development teams for test analysis during the development phase You will bring • B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering)/B Tech. (Bachelor of Technologies)/M Tech preferably in Computer Science or Electronics or Masters in Computer Application (MCA) • Reading/Writing/Listening proficiency in English Language • Hands on Experience in Java Technologies • Excellence in Software Design, Architecture principles and Software development Life Cycle • (SW development, telco business) • Knowledge about cloud native technologies as Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure • System verification experience • Scripting and coding skills in Java, Python, Ansible • Automation attitude • Deep competence in trouble shooting and fault isolation in complex it/telco systems • Working experience in the area >3 years, preferably longer • A collaborative approach, just like us • Drive innovation and continuous improvements Why join Ericsson?
