As Software Architect you will be responsible for achieving the organisation’s goals by collaborating with the software development team to build scalable software that fits the business and will work with engineers to establish and document architectural principles, ensuring standards evolve with emerging technologies and adding in mechanisms to drive adherence.
Working with the software development team to ensure DevSecOps and quality practices are at the core of our development, whilst coordinating with the software development team to ensure our systems run smoothly and are built with maintainability in mind.
Driving quality development of new features in an agile environment whilst continuously monitoring and reacting to user and technological changes.
Key Accountabilities
• Lead in scalable cloud architecture and design of current and new products
• Developing all aspects of the company software products, including but not limited to the commercial applications and the internal production tools
• Adopting and integrating new technologies and languages as appropriate
• Support in development of junior developers
• Driving improvement across all the software projects, in coding, best practice and processes.
Required Knowledge & Experience
• Technical degree or higher with a solid maths background
• Strong understanding of cloud based applications with integrations to IOT devices, preferably in Azure
• Strong track record of application software development which must include .NET experience and C#
• Strong understanding of high-level software architecture and backend development
