Software Developer

Job Title:

To design, develop, and test software for radio-frequency identification (RFID) systems. This role also involves maintaining and improving existing software that can effectively read and store data from the SIEMENS RFID reading machine.

Key Responsibilities:
Design process flow charts to demonstrate how processes will work
Develop, test, and debug programs that will communicate with the SIEMENS RFID reading machine
Analyze user needs and design software to meet them
Create technical specifications and plans, and design each part of the RFID software application
Identify operational requirements for new systems to inform the selection of technological solutions
Perform systems analysis or programming of radio frequency identification device (RFID) technology
Develop process flows, work instructions, or standard operating procedures for radio frequency identification device (RFID) systems
Test radio frequency identification device (RFID) software to ensure proper functioning
Stay updated on RFID technology and implement improvements
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed documentation of programs and systems
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in software engineering, electronics & electrical engineering, or a similar field
4-6 years experience as an RFID Software Developer
RFID Application Development technical certification is preferable
Electronics & electrical engineering experience preferred
Knowledge of software design principles
Detailed knowledge of software and coding languages
Ability to travel when required as per project requirements

Excellent skills in RFID Software Development especially in Python, Java etc with SQL database management systems
In-depth knowledge of understanding of the RFID technology process & functional workflows
Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, and RFID Application Development
Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
Technical Documentation skills
Must be ready to travel if required for work
