Additionally, the SD II will design, maintain, and implement original software applications based on high-level, non-specific concepts provided by the government
The SD II will develop software for large and complex systems, as well as web-based query and reporting systems
Responsibilities Of a Software Developer Ii Includes
Python
SQL, XML, WSDL, Angular, HTML
Microservices Architecture
Developing technical strategies to integrate disparate software applications by creating original software programs
Designing and developing original software applications based on high-level, non-specific concepts provided by the government
Writing programs to achieve desired outcomes or workflows based on observations or vague concepts
Producing specifications and design documentation, including process flows, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, physical architecture, system and web service interface specifications, data dictionaries, and data models
Creating project work estimates
Implementing solutions and identifying operational or management issues
System design, policy development, database development and management, and user interface development
Utilizing Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software as much as possible to avoid proprietary systems
