We're seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and Django frameworks.
Your responsibilities will include:
Writing efficient, reusable, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
Developing and integrating RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between front-end and back-end systems.
Designing and implementing database models and optimizing database performance.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and security, identify and troubleshoot issues, debug and resolve software defects in a timely manner, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
To be successful in this role, you should have a good knowledge of Python with knowledge of Python web framework Django, proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL), excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
