Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. Lead our development team and drive the development of our SaaS solution.

This position is for the BRM (Billing and Revenue Management division) in CAGBU. This is a management position that will involve leading a development team for Oracle's market-leading product.
The product is in the billing domain and is deployed in over 100 countries and at more than 200 customer locations across the globe.
The Development team is responsible for customer success and roadmap development. The group uses strong product development processes.
Experience/Educational Requirements:
• 4-year Bachelor degree(B.E/B.Tech) required. Higher education in Computer Science preferred
• 10 years of software engineering(development) experience
• 3+ years of experience recruiting, managing and coaching high quality software engineering teams
• Experience in a leadership role, with demonstrated success in building and establishing a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
• Collaborate seamlessly with distributed development teams in multiple locations, Product Management, Release Engg and Program managers
• A deep understanding of software development in a team environment, and a track record of shipping software on time is required
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proven track record of fast learning, innovation, strategic thought leadership and teamwork
• Ability to navigate large organizations, develop relationships and build network
• Play a pro-active role to make the customer successful by addressing customer queries and issues
• Own consistency and high quality in solution delivery Technical skills :
• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in the design and development of enterprise applications
• Expertise in UNIX programming environments
• Experience with server-side Java development or high-performance application development
• Experience in Java springs and developing application using in-memory distributed data grid
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture, containerization, orchestration, good understanding of security principles and best practices
• Exposure to TMF Open APIs and experience in Cloud Technologies
• Exposure to testing framework and continuous integration environment like Jenkins, Spock unit test framework, JUnit, Behavior Driven Development is plus
• Knowledge of software development Agile methodology, build tools and product life cycle
• Domain experience in Telecom Billing is an added advantage As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.
