Key position details

(Responsibilities)

Essential:
• MCA, B.Tech or B.E (four year college degree) or

equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in IBM Mainframe, DB2,

COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IMS, TSO/ISPF
• Working experience in IBM File Manager, Debug Tool,

CA7/11, Endevor
• Understanding of complete Software Development Life

Cycle (SDLC)
• L2/L3 Production Support experience – Abend fix, Batch

Cycle Monitoring, Coordination with mainframe Ops, On-

call Support
• Worked on mainframe deveoplment and enhancement

projects

Desirable:
• Working knowledge of CICS, MQ Series, REXX
• Familiar with Agile Methodology
• Ability to think logically/analytically, understand business

need.
• Strong research skills, Strong problem resolution skills
• Adheres to department practices, standards, policies,

procedures, and methodologies.
• Applies technical knowledge and skills necessary to

complete and document moderately complex tasks.
• Understands the application/area as it relates to assigned

projects/tasks.
• Willingly accepts additional responsibility.
