Job description
Senior Software Developer (£45,000 to £70,000) - Hybrid working - Cheshire
One of the UK's leading FinTech's based in Greater Manchester are currently recruiting for 4 software developers from midlevel to senior.
We have full-stack greenfield development and BAU projects that will allow you to use your current skills and learn new ones.
The work is highly varied across a varied number of financial products. Cloud-based office support software, Payroll, Tax. The work is highly complex and all-around Finance.
They currently have a huge amount of work on which is the reason they are looking to hire. A host of updates on old projects, APIs, App Services team, compliance and onboarding platform, Accountancy Software etc
The work is majority Back End focused with .Net, SQL, Azure Cloud and some AWS cloud work.
Tech Stack
• .Net/C#
• .Net Framework MVC 5 web application with Nancy.FX REST API hosted in Azure App Services
• C#
• Some client integrations use a GraphQL API rather than the usual REST API
• Database uses RoundhousE (a migration-based system) as a deployment framework hosted in Azure
• All new applications are written in a recent version of .NET Core
• Azure Powershell is used to deploy applications to Azure
