Software Engineer, Core Platform

What you’ll do:

As a software engineer on the core platform team, you will play a key role in shaping the evolution of moveworks conversational AI platform. As an engineer on this team you will have the opportunity to - build enterprise products that solves real world problems by leveraging our machine learning platform, build the foundational frameworks and services which abstracts away the product needs and provides scalable and reliable building blocks, build the enterprise data platform for various product needs.

We’re building a team that indexes on moving fast, solving challenging product/engineering problems and providing value to our customers. To be successful, you'll be partnering with product, user experience, customer success, machine learning and other engineering teams to identify, define and build elegant solutions. This is an opportunity to play an integral role at the fastest-growing AI startup in its space. You will:

Help design, build, and scale our robust platforms, ensuring reliability, performance, and seamless integration across our engineering ecosystem.
Help define future product roadmap and evolve multiple platform engineering areas.
Partner collaboratively within and across engineering and other cross-functional teams
Build robust, scalable platform components that enable high-performance systems and contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform

What you bring to the table:

1-2 years of industry and/or internship experience in software development.
Familiarity with designing and building software systems, with a willingness to learn and grow.
Hands-on experience or coursework with platform and/or microservices development (Python, Go, or similar languages).
Interest in distributed systems and scalable architecture (experience with Kafka or similar is a plus but not required).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
A collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn, and openness to feedback.
A passion for solving complex problems and delivering impactful solutions.

Nice to have:

Experience with low-latency, high-throughput systems.
Exposure to stream processing or similar systems (e.g., Kafka).
A good sense of product design and user-centric thinking.
Experience working with Machine Learning products

Salary Range: 144,000 - 176,000

Our compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity and benefits package.
