The CI Platform team manages the CI offering for the 1500+ engineers at Datadog working on a single product. At this scale avoiding engineers stepping on each other's toes is a great challenge. The team mission is to reduce friction between engineers by providing them a fast, easy to use, reliable build and CI systems. To achieve this goal we are building a cohesive platform made of well established solutions such as Github, and new initiatives in our merge queue and release tooling. We’d like the platform to be self-service for every Datadog engineer so that the question “How do we build, test, merge and release ?” has the same answer in every team.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do:

Design and implement new solutions that will help every Datadog engineer collaborate and ship new code to our production systems
Be the owner of some of the critical developer workflows at Datadog (mege queue, change detection, bundle release...)
Meet directly with your customer base to understand their needs

Someone that enjoys mentoring other engineers
Someone that enjoys working with other teams across the company

This job is available in various departments within our company; to conform to US export control regulations, some of these roles may require candidates to be eligible for any required authorizations from the US government.

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.
