Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required in Engineering, Computer Science or similar field
Minimum 6 years experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning engineering or similar technical role
3 years experience in data science or artificial intelligence
Experience working in cross-functional teams following an Agile product development framework
Experience developing rapid prototypes and iterations
Expert understanding and experience deployment to production AI/ML architectures, tools, and data infrastructure to public cloud platforms
Expert level programming skills in two or more languages, preferably including Python/PySpark, Java
Designing and building user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular
Strong understanding of cloud computing, containerization, and DevSecOps practices
Proficient working with semi-structured file formats and NoSQL databases
Strong understanding of layers of software stack including API design, development and production deployment at scale
Understanding of Healthcare industry standards and HIPAA privacy and security rules
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Ability to troubleshoot failures and perform root cause analysis to identify deficiencies in data and/or processes
Expert in data engineering and data orchestration best practices with large scale structured and unstructured data
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
A positive, "get to yes” attitude, seeking to find a solution that meets viability, value, feasibility, and usability objectives
Experience in the healthcare industry
Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows
Deeply understand a wide variety of algorithms to understand vulnerabilities, strengths, and weaknesses

Responsibilities
As an AI Software Engineer III, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying world-class Decision Intelligence and AI-enabled products for our customers
These solutions have far-reaching impact across aspects including patient care, team member and patient experience, clinical and back-office operations, and system financial health
You will work as part of a product team with other engineers, data scientists, architects, product managers, and product designers
You will also share in the responsibility for our products achieving the target outcomes for the business problems they are meant to solve
As such, you will be a key player in the continuous Product Discovery and Product Delivery lifecycles to ideate, prototype, launch, learn, and increasingly improve each iteration of our products
As a senior level AI Software Engineer, you mentor other engineers in software development best practices and exemplify a sense of product ownership, value in creativity and exploration, and a positive, "get to yes” attitude
Collaborate with product team to design, develop, and deploy world-class Decision Intelligence and AI-enabled products
Explore novel solutions, often combining multiple AI/ML techniques
Guide the architecture, infrastructure, tools, and processes used to develop, maintain AI/ML products
Rapidly develop prototypes to experiment and evaluate feasibility
Standardize, optimize and scale products in production environments
Design and implement scalable and efficient ML Ops pipelines for ingesting, processing, and storing large volumes of structured and unstructured data
Keep abreast of the latest data platform and AI/ML tools, techniques and industry trends
