The Role:

Software Engineers within R&D Operations work with Software Developers, Data Engineers, IT, InfoSec and different business units across DailyPay to design, develop, and maintain the software tools and systems used to manage processes and applications within a distributed product and engineering team. In this role you will assist with software integration for cross-functional projects across R&D. The role involves hands-on configuration and integration work with both custom and SaaS software, integrating with APIs and custom webhooks as well as system configuration. This role will require rapid familiarization with SaaS application administration, configuration and extensibility across different commercial tools for development and compliance management.

How You Will Make an Impact:
• Works with R&D to determine requirements, drive implementation, documentation, maintenance, and improvement of operations applications and associated processes
• Actively involved in the design, development, testing, validation and implementation of modifications and enhancements to operations applications
• Writes and maintains custom scripts to increase efficiency and lower the human intervention time on tasks
• Deploy, customise, upgrade, and troubleshoot commercial off-the-shelf and SaaS software including, but not limited to, configuring authentication, data and systems integrations, workflow rules, and email notifications
• Review product compliance to company standards, customer requirements, industry standards and regulations. Develop strategy to achieve product compliance and certification
• Collaborate with product vendors to investigate, resolve product related issues
• Regularly performs technical reviews of current operations applications to identify and resolve deficiencies.

What You Bring to The Team:
• 3+ years of experience within Software Development, Systems or Integration Engineering roles.
• Adaptable problem-solver with experience analysing code, documentation, and data to quickly grasp new technical systems and a keen eye for detail.
• Experience with API design and development, as well as various data access technologies (e.g., ODBC, JDBC). Familiarity with other integration protocols is a plus.
• Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Go, Perl, Ruby, etc).
• Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
• Experience implementing and configuring SaaS tools (OKTA/Jira/SalesForce)
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex applications and systems
• Knowledge and experience to maintain technical processes/documentation and automations/scripts

Pay Transparency. DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation in addition to stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills and internal equity.

Belfast Compensation Range

£41,000—£55,000 GBP
