We're innovating in the fast-paced world of live auctions from fashion, beauty, electronics to collectibles like trading cards, comic books, and even live plants.
Role
Growth engineers at Whatnot have big ownership and velocity in order to significantly impact the company top-line metrics.
This is a critical role on the notifications team, where you will architect complex systems to send the right message to the right user at the right time, at scale
About the Team
Team members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, or Seattle, WA hubs.

Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience building scalable systems (we primarily use Python, Elixir, JavaScript).
Excellent product instincts. You first think about users rather than the best technical solution.
Experience working on notifications or messaging systems is a plus
