Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Solid Wood Carpenter located at Gulmohar Wood Works in Bengaluru East. The Solid Wood Carpenter will be responsible for designing and crafting customized furniture pieces using high-quality materials. The Solid Wood Carpenter will also be responsible for ensuring accuracy and precision in all wooden pieces created, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and collaborating with other team members to complete projects on time.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools, including saws, sanders, and planers
• Experience with a variety of woodworking techniques, including joinery, veneering, and laminating
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and blueprints
• Demonstrated expertise in types of wood and wood grain, as well as finishes and polishes for specific wood types
• Great attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate pieces
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in woodworking or a related field
• Certification in woodworking or carpentry a plus
