OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a contract resource to architect, lead and coordinate all activities related to the architecture and/or integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions as required to meet the business requirements of the organization. This individual is responsible for developing and maintaining the architecture blueprint for each implementation assigned. This individual will work closely with the technical teams to understand the architecture, product capabilities and integration of the solution into our overall technology ecosystem. Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of integration best practices are critical to succeed in this role.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Architecture
Develop and maintain architectures along with architectural documentation for each product, application, capability, or service being architected.
Collaborate with Project Managers, technical teams, and business teams to understand the product capabilities, architecture and integrations.
Document solution architectures.
Ensure that the architectures align with our Enterprise Architecture and Requirements.
Develop standards, processes, and other documentation to support and facilitate the project initiatives.
Develop coding, integration, process standards to be used by technical teams.
Mentor Team members where appropriate.
Work with project teams to select, assess / evaluate products (business, security, infrastructure).
Assist teams in the vendor assessments.
Work with project teams to define the non-functional testing requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:
College Diploma or university degree in computer science or computer engineering.
10+ more years of progressive experience in architecture.
Proven experience in developing enterprise and solution level architectural designs.
Proven experience in architecting application / product integrations.
Proficiency in multi-tiered architecture, design and implementation.
Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, methodology development, and data mapping.
Knowledge of PLSQL / Java / Oracle ADF / HTML5 / XML structures.
Experience with integration and ETL tools.
Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques.
Confidence and experience with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST.
Strong working knowledge, ability to apply Enterprise Architecture concepts, frameworks and methodologies in the context of corporate planning and business transformation.
