Solution Architect | Gen AI

The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that leverage ChatGPT Enterprise and other OpenAI tools. This role requires a deep technical understanding of AI technologies and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


Design, develop, and implement AI-based solutions using ChatGPT Enterprise.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand client needs and provide technical expertise.
Create architectural blueprints and technical documentation focused on integrating ChatGPT Enterprise.
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and performant.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and LLMs, specifically in relation to ChatGPT Enterprise.
Provide technical support and guidance during the sales process.

This role can be based in our offices in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, Pōneke / Wellington, Ōtautahi / Christchurch or Kirikiriroa / Hamilton.

Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent applied experience.
Strong hands-on background in applied AI and machine learning, with proven knowledge in the application of LLMs (e.g. RAG-based implementations, model finetuning, agent orchestration, embeddings generation and search).
Experience in systems integration (e.g. consumption of REST APIs)
Deep knowledge and experience in solution design and documentation, including non-functional requirements (e.g. security, privacy, data retention, logging) to meet the needs of an enterprise environment.
Experience using Generative AI platforms and services, such as OpenAI Platform APIs, HuggingFace, Azure AI Services, AWS Bedrock and/or GCP Vertex AI.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (e.g. translate technical details into layman’s terms is crucial for engaging clients and explaining the value proposition of enterprise Generative AI solutions).
Experience in technology capability sourcing strategy, and striking the right balance between ‘build’ versus ‘buy/configure’.
