Great South, Southland's Regional Tourism Organisation, is seeking a passionate and organised Project Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in implementing the exciting Southland Murihiku Food Tourism Strategy.

About the opportunity:

This is a dynamic 6-month fixed-term role where you'll work alongside our Destination Development and Tourism Marketing Managers to bring the Southland Murihiku Food Tourism Strategy to life. You'll be responsible for a range of projects, including:

Building a delectable microsite: Research and curate captivating content showcasing Southland's food producers, regional food stories, hospitality directory, and emerging beverage scene.
Crafting a mouthwatering Murihiku Southland food story: Develop messaging and brand guidelines that capture the essence of Southland's food scene.
Creating a food tourism toolkit: Design a practical resource kit for local food businesses and hospitality providers.
Building a comprehensive database: Develop and share a database of Southland's incredible food producers.
Supporting a sustainable future: Research key areas of focus for a hospitality sector-focused sustainability program, connect with relevant organizations, and explore the possibility of guest speakers.
