Spa Receptionist (Part-Time)

· Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa reservations software system
· Call both guests and service providers to confirm scheduled services. Answer questions about available services, promote and sell spa services and/or products.
· Update the reservations/cancellations list throughout the day, inform providers of last-minute changes, and resolve scheduling issues as needed by working with supervisor/manager.
· Check in guests for appointments, confirm first and last name, and provide general spa orientation to guests upon arrival.
· Process guest payments for spa services and obtain payment authorization as needed.
· Accept and log cash tips for employees. Balance, scan, and drop receipts with Accounting.
· Notify Engineering of maintenance/repair needs and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
· Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
· Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
· Perform Spa rounds every 20 minutes. (Cleaning, restocking, taking guests into change-room) Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
· Obtain a positive working relationship with team members and departments within Hotel and complying with any reasonable job duties requested by other departments.
· Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Maintaining spa voice when treatments are occurring.
· Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Spa Manager.
· Be thoroughly knowledgeable of the property’s features and events.
· Take hotel reservations, attaining all details and following the Forbes 5-Star Standards of Service.
· Create, maintain and distribute the VIP Guest email.
· Complete and distribute the ROB Report, ensuring accuracy.
· Provide all necessary information to the guests and be knowledgeable of the most frequently asked questions.
· Assist Reservation Department duties as required.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 1 year previous spa experience in a similar capacity
· Excellent command of the English language, secondary language a benefit
· Must enjoy team work and multi-tasking environment
· Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
· Should be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Software
· Must be detail oriented and have strong ability to multi-task
· Must be eligible to work in Canada
