JOB DESCRIPTION:

 Providing training and technical assistance to teachers and education

professionals.

 Work alongside the Program Manager to support local partners and ensure quality

implementation, including fieldwork to support school visits, work plans and training.

 Assist with organization of meetings, conferences, events and travel

 Strong ability to manage, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks

 Be committed to meeting the needs of a diverse student population.

 Facilitating workshops / meetings (both online and offline), as well as identifying resource

professionals.

 Help and support in curriculum/content development and research

POSITION: Assistant manager Special Educator

Location: Delhi

REQUIRED SKILLS; QUALIFICATIONS:

 Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, priority on cross disability courses (RCI Registered)

 Have 3 to 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience in inclusive school or program

coordinator of a special school/ therapy center; plus, additional administrative/supervisory experience

preferred.

 Knowledge of best practices in curriculum design, and an advanced understanding of instructional

strategies for students with autism, specific learning disabilities, Intellectual impairment and Multiple

disability.

 Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a

diverse group of members.

 Excellent computer skills

 Supporting the planning of special education initiative and the implementation of initiatives in

Inclusive education

 Have excellent time-management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

 Thorough knowledge of special education laws and regulations

 Strong written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skill
