Accountabilities:
• Provide general support for various events for the Calgary Flames, Calgary Stampeders, Calgary Hitmen, Calgary Roughnecks, Calgary Wranglers, and Live Entertainment such as; set up, registration, signage & décor, interactive stations, sponsors, vendors, tear down, etc.
• Oversee Calgary Stampeders pregame Fan Zone and / or Gridiron Garden Tailgate Party, ensuring proper setup, execution and tear down.
• Provide general event support for Calgary Flames, Calgary Stampeders, Calgary Hitmen, Calgary Roughnecks, Calgary Wranglers community activations and street team promotion within Calgary and its surrounding communities.
• Provide general event support for Calgary Flames Foundation events
• Assist the CSEC Game Presentation department with in-game promotions as required.
• Ensure the safe handling and tracking of event equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
• Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, physical education, event management or related fields;
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive and supportive working relationships;
• Must be willing and able to multi-task and work independently;
• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, run, reach and kneel.
• Nature of the position requires unlimited physical mobility and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds;
• ProServe license would be considered an asset.
This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
