Specialist New Projects (D)

Adani Group is seeking a highly motivated Specialist New Projects (D) to join their Construction & Site Engineering department. This full-time, permanent role involves planning, coordinating, and executing new distribution projects within the power industry. The Specialist will be responsible for site visits, technical analysis, vendor coordination, and ensuring projects meet regulatory standards. This position requires a strong understanding of distribution networks and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Review maximum demand and infrastructure requirements for new residential and commercial connections.
Conduct load growth forecasting and support 33-22/11kV network planning.
Perform site visits, prepare site reports, and conduct technical analysis.
Prepare detailed equipment layouts and plan substation jobs.
Conduct cable route feasibility surveys.
Prepare technical evaluation reports for vendors and coordinate with internal teams for purchase orders.
Oversee Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation and manage projects in SAP.
Monitor the preparation and approval of necessary approvals and manage site constraints.
Prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
1-2 years of experience in transmission and distribution network planning and regulatory support.
Experience with project execution and project management.
Familiarity with regulatory norms and compliance.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to perform technical analysis and prepare technical reports.

Preferred Skills / Attributes

Experience with Capital Budgeting and Equipment Management.
Knowledge of Feeder Analysis and Load Flow Analysis.
Proficiency in Network Analysis and Project Management.
Understanding of Regulatory Compliance and Transmission and Distribution Systems.
Experience with Cyme Dist software.
