SQL Database Administrator

Description SQL DBA : Technical and Professional Requirements: Candidate should have an experience of 4-8 years as an Oracle database administration with in-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture and should have worked latest versions of SQL etc. • Good knowledge of SQL Database Architecture • Manage database objects like tablespace, user, table, Index, roles, privileges, profiles, DB Links, materialized views, partitioning, synonyms, sequences, views and indexes and other database objects etc • User management, create user, privileges and roles as required • Experience with Traditional exports/imports and Data pump. • Experience with backup and recovery • Installation, configuration and administration of SQL DB's. • Create physical/logical standby database and performing switch-over and fail-over • Demonstrated ability to implement High Availability, Workload Management and Fail Over, Disaster recovery • Expertise in debugging and analytical skills with solid grasp of system development methodologies, techniques and tool. • Perform regular health check of all production databases at instance level and take appropriate action in case of any threshold value is reached. • Monitor and tune the performance of SQL/Oracle database ongoing basis Skills & Experience Database Administration, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration, SQL Databases Cyient is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
