Remote Canadian Role
Altera Digital Health, a dynamic and growing healthcare software solutions provider, is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate and timely recording of revenue, while contributing to process improvements and our ongoing financial integration.

Altera Digital Health (Altera) provides digital software solutions and support to large hospitals and physicians across variety of geographies. Altera's software is backend mission critical software used by our customers deliver the best possible healthcare to patients across the globe.
Altera was acquired by Harris Computer in May 2022 and is their largest acquisition to date. The Altera business consists of 11 core businesses spread across several legal entities in various geographies. The Altera finance team consists of 100+ individuals and is truly an international operation with team members in India, Canada, USA, Israel, Australia, and more.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Process Management: Support the end-to-end revenue recognition process, including revenue recognition analysis, and journal entry preparation.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and external financial statements. Contribute to successful completion of annual financial statement audits.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline revenue accounting processes and implement effective solutions.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support revenue-related initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent years of experience
CPA preferred
4-6 years of relevant accounting experience
Knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15.
Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Able to effectively work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
