Amazon is growing its network of DSPs who own and operate successful logistics businesses and build a team of Delivery Associates (DAs) who are obsessed with the customer experience.

We are looking for a Sr. Communications Manager, DSP Operations, who will be responsible for building and supporting best-in-class communications and content that result in high levels of engagement with these DSPs and DAs. You will partner with multiple cross-functional partners implement large-scale changes that improve the efficiency of our logistics operations and help us reach more customers.
Your core business stakeholders oversee field employees who work within the logistics network and partner with DSPs and DAs deliver the optimal experience for customers. This will require you to work in a fast-paced environment and break down complex topics into simple, compelling messaging. You will bring in fresh ideas to simplify and scale our communications processes particularly when it comes to keeping field Amazon employees informed about changes that impact DSPs and DAs. You will also elevate and amplify Ops Leaders’ voices in DSP-facing communications to provide context on upcoming changes to build trust and showcase the support that Amazon provides to DSPs and their teams.

The ideal candidate is a communicator with business acumen and writing ability. Exercising judgment in narrow timeframes, particularly by injecting logic and care into strategic communications targeted at DSPs, is critical. You will have a passion for storytelling, as there are so many wonderful stories to be found in this innovative space.

This role is a unique hybrid of B2B Comms and Internal Comms.

This role can be based in Bellevue, WA, or Nashville, TN.

Key job responsibilities
Strategize and execute proactive multi-channel content strategy centered on flexible operations and bringing clarity to the large-scale operational changes
Drive storytelling efforts and communication campaigns to both solve business needs, including written communications, executive messaging, infographics, newsletters, and video
Interview DSPs, DAs, and Ops leaders to build testimonial and spotlight stories on how they are partnering together to build a best-in-class logistics network
Identify opportunities to build scalable mechanisms such as messaging guidelines and communications playbooks
Partner with stakeholders to ingest customer listening data and use it to inform a communication strategy
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications

A day in the life
We write a lot and "are right a lot"! We respond to business needs and develop messaging for change announcements. We also interview DSPs and DAs to build compelling spotlight and testimonial stories. We own multiple channels by which we communicate to our DSP Owners, including the Communication Center, integrated within the DSP Portal, and Ignite Digital Community (IDC), a custom-built digital form for DSPs to share best practices and hear directly from Amazon leaders. We communicate to DAs through the DA In-App Newsfeed, built within their Amazon Delivery App.

About the team
The DSP Communications team is made up of 18 high performing leaders. Even though we are based in different cities across the US, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico, we have a highly inclusive and collaborative culture. DSPs & DAs count on us to provide helpful and trustworthy information so they can operate their business efficiently and focus on what matters most to them, i.e., building a safety-first culture, developing their team and delivering millions of smiles in their communities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Bachelor's degree - preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
Experience communicating results to stakeholders
Experience executing scaled marketing campaigns through email or social media

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
