Responsibilities
Support the department leads and work closely with Commercial and Operations to analyze volume and pricing data to ensure accuracy
Strong knowledge of midstream gathering and processing business and settlement allocation methods and procedures
Interpret & understand midstream contracts including gas, water, crude gathering, processing and transportation
Strong system knowledge and problem-solving support for complex technical and functional issues
Work closely with Commercial and Operations to analyze volume and pricing data and ensure accuracy
Record all gross margin transactions to the General Ledger for responsible assets
Analyze revenues & expenses and explain variances between, current, prior months and budget/forecasts
Reconcile gross margin accounts related to the Income Statement and Balance Sheet monthly
Perform settlement activities with producers and interface regularly to resolve any issues
Assist with new business and acquisitions
Interface with producers and customers regularly to resolve settlement issues
Oversee and support Regulatory Reporting requirements
All other duties as assigned
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Occasional driving may be needed to travel to Kinetik plants and worksites as needed
Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 3+ years of experience in Midstream or E&P business required
• 2+ years of public accounting a plus
• Waterfield system experience a plus
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and produce results under tight deadlines
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with all areas of the organization
• Strong organizational skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Team-oriented individual
• Working in SOX 404 environment preferred
• Ability to think creatively and proactively to improve processes
