Qualifications

Responsibilities
Product Engineer who will focus on new product development from conception to mass production working closely on interiors
Assume the position of Product Owner/Lead Engineer for seat area components, taking full responsibility for the design, development, and delivery of these critical elements within the vehicle
Plan, develop, and execute complex engineering projects, ensuring that all phases from concept to production are meticulously managed
This includes setting project timelines, defining milestones, and ensuring that all deliverables are met on schedule
Engage with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and assembly, to ensure that all geometric, manufacturing, and assembly requirements are thoroughly analyzed, verified, and met
This involves regular meetings, reviews, and updates to ensure alignment across all stakeholders
Work closely with global partners and suppliers to leverage comprehensive expertise
This includes coordinating efforts across different time zones, cultures, and technical disciplines to ensure seamless integration and collaboration
Ensure that all seat area components comply with applicable vehicle regulations (FMVSS, FMCSR, etc.). This includes staying up-to-date with regulatory changes, conducting necessary tests and validations, and maintaining thorough documentation
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation, seeking feedback, and implementing best practices
This includes staying informed about industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in engineering methodologies
Job description
A leading Automotive OEM company is currently seeking a Sr. Product Engineer who will focus on new product development from conception to mass production working closely on interiors.

Responsibilities

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's Degree preferred
• 5-8+ years of experience of cross-functional product development in the automotive/truck/construction equipment/aerospace industry
