Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or in a similar field
4+ years’ experience in general and tax accounting
Bilingual in English and Korean is a must
Knowledge of US-GAAP and IFRS
Proficiency in Excel
Ability to understand systematic processes
Strong aptitude to understand accounting systems and how to extract and reconcile information
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Manager, Taxation, the Tax Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of time-sensitive, tax compliance projects and other tax matters
Ability to conduct tax research, income tax projections and prepare basic entity
Completes monthly BS reconciliation and account analysis in a timely manner
Resolves issues identified in the reconciliation process in timely manner
Assist in the maintenance of the general ledger for multiple legal entities
Assist with various engagements including audit, reviews and compilations under direct supervision
Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classification assigned to various records
Communicate closely with stakeholders

Responsibilities
