Job description
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team and contribute to the documentation of Polaris (IOS-XE based) features for our Industrial IoT switches, routers, and wireless products. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining high-quality documentation that facilitates the understanding and use of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation for Polaris features related to Industrial IoT switches, routers, and wireless products.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather and clarify information.
Use Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Oxygen XML Editor for documentation creation and management.
Ensure that all documentation adheres to DITA standards and best practices.
Review and revise existing documentation for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
Work closely with the development and QA teams to ensure documentation is aligned with product releases and updates.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the networking or Telecom domain.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
Experience working with networking GUI products using GitHub, Markdown, Confluence.
Proficiency in DITA and experience with tools such as AEM and Oxygen XML Editor.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Industrial IoT products and technologies.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
