Additionally, the role may require occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds for office supplies or equipment

Responsibilities
The Staff Accountant for our Clinical Research team primarily focuses on collections and streamlining general accounting and contract-related processes
The Staff Accountant also maintains financial records and ensures financial transactions are properly recorded
Manage/record deposits received using multiple tools and spreadsheets
Create and maintain reports in excel spreadsheets/various accounting tools to keep track of transactions and changes
Compare customers’ budget against invoices created in the system
Compare patient’s visits to the trackers
Record all the revenues that are reported in the current month by creating invoices that correspond to sponsors’ budgets and procedures performed
Solidify the contract/budget review
Respond to inquiries and resolve both internal and external issues
Enhance and streamline processes in the Finance department
Ad-hoc projects as assigned

Job Purpose And Summary
The Staff Accountant for our Clinical Research team primarily focuses on collections and streamlining general accounting and contract-related processes. The Staff Accountant also maintains financial records and ensures financial transactions are properly recorded.
Essential Duties And Responsbilities
• Manage/record deposits received using multiple tools and spreadsheets.
• Create and maintain reports in excel spreadsheets/various accounting tools to keep track of transactions and changes.
• Compare customers’ budget against invoices created in the system.
• Compare patient’s visits to the trackers.
• Record all the revenues that are reported in the current month by creating invoices that correspond to sponsors’ budgets and procedures performed.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
• Ability to gather and analyze financial data/reports via Excel spreadsheets required; experience with tools such as Crio, QuickBooks preferred.
