The University of Miami seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join its team in the Operating Room.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner, utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service.
Assess assigned patients, evaluate plans, and report symptoms and changes in patients' condition and vital signs.
Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses, conditions, and physician orders.
Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Prepare patients for, and assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution
Certification and Licensing: State of Florida Registered Nurse License, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification (ACLS), Basic Life Support Certification (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience and / or Peri-Op 101
