Full job description
The Band 5 Staff Nurse post holder will provide ****** health and contraception specialist nursing care across Northamptonshire,. You will be based in our Kettering hub (Ashwood Centre) but may also be expected to visit our spoke sites Rushden, Corby and Wellingborough. They will be supported by the multidisciplinary countywide team within Northamptonshire Integrated ****** Health and HIV Services (NISHH). The MDT includes a team of Consultants, Pharmacy, Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Band 7 senior nurses, Band 5 and 6 nurses, support workers and healthcare assistants.
You will be line managed by the Band 7 Senior Nurse.
Adminstering and dispensing treatment of Sexually transmitted infections (STI's) under Patient Group Direction (PGD)
Partner notification
Venepuncture
Asymptomatic STI testing
Symptomatic STI testing
Results management
Sexual health advice and health promotion
