As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll use your .Net (C#) expertise to modernise and migrate applications used to power our entire business. You'll have the opportunity to pave the way for Cloud journey for complex applications and ensuring they are simpler, faster and more secure.
Work with various teams to modernise legacy applications, designing, developing and deploying quality software solutions and system designs
Supporting the application teams with troubleshooting their application deployments from their code, the web servers and the cloud deployments
Lead solution design discussions, while uplifting engineering capability and steering global engineering best practice across engineering communities
Debugging and troubleshooting, using .Net to solve complex problems in a systematic approach (e.g. using PowerShell)
Support various application teams to ensure the stability and security of the cloud platform
We're interested in hearing from people who:
Are experienced in full cycle engineering, microservices, RESTful API's, and are well versed in .Net/.NetCore (C#)
Can talk through their solution design, clearly and concisely with the ability to explain both the why and the how to senior stakeholders
Show a deep understanding of infrastructure that runs .NET applications - IIS, Web Servers, Kestrel, Containers, etc
Enhance CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated testing and governance
Work with automation tools and use logging & monitoring tools (i.e. CloudWatch, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana and Prometheus)
Mentor and develop junior engineers, driving global best practices across the engineering community
