We are currently looking for a Staffing Coordinator to support our Human Capital team. This position plays an essential role in coordinating temporary staffing needs and providing day-to-day HR support. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career looking to gain experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily and weekly scheduling of temporary staffing to meet production needs.
Serve as the main contact between Belvika and temporary staffing agencies.
Register and track agency staff in the time and attendance system.
Monitor and resolve clock-in/out issues or attendance discrepancies.
Share weekly staffing reports with supervisors and HR.
Support production supervisors with agency performance and attendance tracking.
Assist with onboarding new hires and ensuring documentation is complete.
Help coordinate health & safety training and maintain compliance records.
Maintain accurate employee files and records in the HR system.
Respond to basic employee inquiries and escalate issues as needed.
Support hourly recruitment efforts (job postings, screening, interviews).
Help with HR administrative tasks, data entry, and internal reporting.
Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in staffing coordination, HR administration, or recruitment (experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is an asset).
Solid understanding of Ontario employment legislation and health & safety requirements.
Comfortable working with staffing agencies and managing schedules.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with HRIS or timekeeping systems is an asset.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
