Our client, a popular everyday women's jewelry brand, is looking for a Store Manager to join their team in Miami, FL!
Role Overview
The Store Manager will be a critical leader responsible for the overall success and smooth operation of our retail store. This role requires strong leadership, retail acumen, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure high standards of customer service, sales performance, and operational efficiency across all aspects of the store, including specialized services like piercings and permanent bracelets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Team Management
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and sales performance
• Help recruit, train, mentor, and develop sales associates and keyholders
• Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage and foster a positive, productive work environment
Sales & Customer Experience
• Drive sales performance to meet and exceed targets and goals
• Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and building customer loyalty
• Efficiently and professionally handle advanced customer inquiries, complaints, and returns
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer shopping experience
Operations & Inventory Management
• Manage comprehensive inventory processes, including ordering, receiving, stocking, transfers, and conducting regular counts
• Ensure proper cash handling procedures, daily reconciliation, and bank deposits
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards for both jewelry and activewear
Compliance & Technology
• Oversee compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and local health department guidelines, particularly for piercings
• Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems and other store technologies efficiently
Piercings & Permanent Bracelets Oversight
• Ensure all staff involved in piercings and permanent bracelets are properly trained, certified, and adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols
• Monitor and manage supplies specific to piercing and bracelet services and ensure accurate record-keeping for all piercing procedures (e.g., waivers, aftercare instructions)
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulations for these services
Administrative & Financial Analysis
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities
• Communicate regularly with management regarding store performance, challenges, and opportunities
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a high-growth or multi-category environment (jewelry preferred)
• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of recruiting, developing, and motivating high-performing teams
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales and meet revenue targets
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to creating exceptional shopping experiences
• Proficiency in inventory management, cash handling, and POS systems
• Understanding of visual merchandising principles
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with or a willingness to learn about specialized retail services (e.g., piercings, permanent jewelry) and associated compliance
• Availability for full-time work (32+ hours/week), including weekends and holidays
