Storefront Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in computer operation, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. Duties

Greet customers warmly and handle transactions efficiently using point-of-sale systems
Answer phone calls and assist customers with placing orders
Manage cash register operations, including processing payments and issuing receipts
Manage online web store pricing and order management
Assist customers with inquiries and provide information about products or services
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station
Support inventory management through data entry and stock monitoring
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Uphold company policies and ensure compliance with safety standards
Participate in training sessions for ongoing development and skill enhancement
Experience

Proven experience in cashiering or retail sales preferred
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry systems
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism
This position requires candidates to be organized, customer-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Pay: $17.00-$23.00 per hour
