Must be enrolled in accredited school of nursing and have completed fundamentals of nursing courses
BLS certification required

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, responsible for providing basic patient care such as bathing, feeding, taking vital signs, and monitoring patients’ behavior and physical condition
Ensures patient personal and oral hygiene needs are met daily and / or as necessary
Provides catheters care daily and / or as needed
Reports any pertinent observations to RN
Completes assigned nursing orders as directed by preceptor / Registered Nurse, including assisting patient with activities of daily living

Position Responsibilities :

Join Mount Sinai Medical Center as a Student Nurse Tech! This is a great opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in a hospital setting, while focusing on your main priority, nursing school!
