The University of Niagara Falls Canada is seeking motivated and dedicated students to join our team in the Marketing department as a Student Social Media Collaborator. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, and contribute to the success of our university community. This part-time role offers flexible hours to accommodate your academic schedule.

Responsibilities

As a part-time student employee, your duties will vary based on the needs of the department, but may include:

Assisting with day-to-day operations within the assigned department.
Providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
Supporting administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping.
Assisting with event planning and coordination, including setup and takedown.
Contributing to marketing initiatives, such as content creation and social media management.
Assisting in research and gathering information for departmental projects.
Providing support for student success initiatives, including workshops and orientation programs.
Ensuring a welcoming and organized environment in all student-facing areas.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in the position, an individual must be committed to developing, maintaining, and demonstrating the following:

Must be a current student in good standing at the University of Niagara Falls Canada.
Completion of at least one full-time term (April or July term starts are valid).
Eligible to work in Canada (Canadian citizen or valid work permit).
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Competencies

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the University of Niagara Falls Canada.
Completion of at least one full-time term (April or July term starts are considered valid).
Academic standing must be in good standing with no active academic probation or disciplinary actions
Strong Communication to convey information clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences.
Capable of balancing academic responsibilities with part-time work commitments.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments.
Flexibility in handling a variety of tasks and willingness to learn new skills.
