Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Accounts Indirect Taxation and Sales Invoicing Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing indirect tax compliance, sales invoicing processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of tax regulations, invoicing procedures, and accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
• Indirect Tax Compliance:
• Prepare and file indirect tax returns (e.g., VAT, GST) in compliance with local regulations.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
• Liaise with tax authorities during audits and inquiries.
• Sales Invoicing:
• Generate and issue sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all invoices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain records of all sales transactions and invoices.
• Financial Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports related to indirect taxation and sales.
• Analyze sales data and tax liabilities to provide insights for management.
• Reconciliation:
• Perform regular reconciliations of sales accounts and indirect tax accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoicing and tax records.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure accurate invoicing and tax compliance.
• Provide training and support to staff on invoicing procedures and tax regulations.
• Documentation:
• Maintain organized documentation of all tax filings, invoices, and related correspondence.
• Ensure proper record-keeping practices are followed in accordance with company policies.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounts, indirect taxation, and sales invoicing.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software SAP preferred and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
