We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from highly skilled and safety focused Paint & Blast Supervisors with strong experience in planned outages in the power generation industry to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing painting and blasting resources and requirements associated with various scopes of work during plant outages on heavy industrial sites in the Darling Downs and Central Queensland regions.

This position will work closely with the Superintendent, your Leading Hands and work crews to ensure the work crew is set up to succeed, where schedule is considered, and work is performed in a safe and reliable manner.

To be considered for a role the following skills and experience would be preferred:

Demonstrated experience in power station Supervisory roles – Paint & Blast
Trade qualified – Painter – preferred but not essential
NACE certification highly regarded
Experience with power station outage work fronts for painting & blasting
Demonstrated experience in workforce allocation and management, conducting pre-starts, toolboxes etc
Ability to read and interpret schedules and provide accurate schedule updates
Strong commitment to developing and maintaining a safe working environment
Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlines
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative and positive manner
Strong client focus and a genuine desire to assist team members
