Title: Supplier Management Officer

Contract Type: Permanent

Persona: Agile (1-2 days in office, 3-4 day working from home per week)

Location: Stratford, E15 4PH or Manchester, M33 6AG

Salary: London weighted starting from £31,+23. Outside London/Regional starting from: £28,045 PA depending on experience + ECU Allowance of £1,300 is paid in accordance with requirements of the relevant policy as updated from time to time.

We are looking for an experienced Supplier Management Officer to work in our Accounts Payable Team

Reporting into Accounts payable Manager along side 5 other Supplier Management officers, and a team of + Invoice Processing Clerks.

Accounts payable experience is essential, main duties are weekly BACS runs, cheque runs, void out of date cheques, setting up new supplier accounts as per procedure, supplier amendments, Supplier Statement Reconciliation, answer supplier queries, urgent payments as and when needed, applying payments to invoices.

Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Some experience of working in a similar accounts function.
• Some familiarity with basic accounting operations such that is able to deal with more complicated issues than the Finance Officers and support with their questions.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Organised to deal with own workload and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications especially Excel.
• Able, through experience, to apply a degree of judgement to deal with unfamiliar situations.
