CNICS is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Executive to support the day-to-day operations of our procurement and supply chain team. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional departments, meticulous planning, and effective supplier management to optimize the supply chain process.
Key Responsibilities:
Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and utilize statistical models for accurate demand forecasting, helping anticipate trends and fluctuations and to make informed purchasing decisions
Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing surplus stock, wastages and related holding costs.
Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, consistent inflow of stock and proactively addressing any supplier queries while maintaining good supplier relations.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand pricing trends, supplier capabilities, seasonal changes and industry shifts, supporting well-informed purchasing decisions.
Product Performance Evaluation: Assess product performance metrics to ensure quality and alignment with company standards.
Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise with the warehouse, sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations from procurement to delivery.
Supplier Performance Management: Assess and evaluate supplier performance, regularly to ensure reliability and quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or demand forecasting is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with forecasting techniques and statistical tools.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
