Full job description
About the role
We’re looking for a sharp, detail-focused Supply Planning Analyst to step into a five-month parental leave cover and hit the ground running in one of our most vital planning functions. The role offers an opportunity to drive tangible impact by connecting long-term strategy with daily execution, enabling the business to deliver on its commitments.

Working with our Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP) team, you’ll help translate the 0–36 month Integrated Business Plan into a clear, tactical 0–12 month supply plan. You’ll support scheduling alignment, analyse supply scenarios, manage risk and opportunity reporting, and provide hands-on input into planning process improvements. You’ll also work closely with stakeholders across the value chain, contributing your insight to initiatives and project streams, and providing leave cover within the wider planning team when needed.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills, manufacturing planning experience, and a commercial mindset – who enjoys getting into the detail but can also see the big picture.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

Build and maintain a reliable 0–12 month Supply Plan that executes the long-term IBP.
Provide visibility of key risks, opportunities, and constraints within the supply plan.
Align planning and scheduling by ensuring seamless communication and updates.
Request and support the creation of master data to enable effective planning.
Conduct scenario analysis, highlighting the financial impact of various planning decisions.
Represent the Planning function across projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide leave cover and support across the wider Planning team when required.
Identify and deliver planning process improvement opportunities.
Skills and Experience

We’re looking for someone who brings:

2+ years of experience in the dairy industry, including exposure to manufacturing and planning.
Practical experience in supply chain planning and optimisation.
Strong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to interpret data and make sound recommendations.
A working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
A relevant degree in Engineering, Science, or Commerce.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Clear written and verbal communication skills – able to translate complex data into practical insights.
Commercial acumen and the ability to financialise supply chain decisions.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
