$26.+4 - $31.00 Hourly

Location: Various aged care facilities in the Manawatū-Whanganui region.
Hours of work: Casual on-call (confirmed prior to each assignment) & a Part-Time (fixed term) opportunity.
About the Role:
As a Healthcare Assistant for R-Connect, you will be deployed to complete temporary assignments across various aged care facilities in New Zealand. You will gain a broad range of experience and deliver quality care to residents.
As this is a casual role, you will be prompted when a temp vacancy is available, and you will only need to accept this when you are available.
Some Duties include but not limited to:
Report to the charge nurse and complete delegated tasks in a timely manner
Residents’ personal care tasks i.e. hygiene, grooming, toileting
Including mobilising, shaving, brushing of teeth and hair
Maintain documents in resident healthcare records
Skills and Experience
You need to be a New Zealand Citizen/Resident or have open work visa conditions
New Zealand Certificate in Health and wellbeing level 3 or 4 preferred
Aged care experience required
People skills with empathy for the elderly and their families
Good written and verbal communication skills
The flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis
