The role
Te Puna Awhina service of Community Living is currently recruiting to employ experienced staff, for a 13-year-old in Hamilton. We require a small team of staff to support the young person in her home and community, including taking her to activities like Equipotential. The young person enjoys weekly contact with family. If you are excited by an opportunity to make a real difference, we would like to hear from you.
About you
Staff should be resilient and have a positive attitude, as there are times when behaviour can be challenging. The young person has a disability and will require support to learn new skills, understand complex information and communicate with other people.
The successful applicants must have a FULL NZ Driver's license and will be a part of a focused team, working together with collective goals. You will be fully trained, with ongoing coaching and support.
