We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Surveillance Auditor and Data Entry Specialist for a retail store. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to monitor all cameras installed throughout the retail store and ensure that every transaction is accurately recorded and entered into the system. You will work closely with the management and security team to maintain the integrity of financial records and identify any discrepancies or instances of undeclared sales.

Responsibilities:

Monitor Cameras: Regularly monitor and review footage from surveillance cameras positioned throughout the retail store to observe sales transactions in real-time.

Data Entry: Accurately enter the details of each bill and transaction into the designated software or database, ensuring that all relevant information is captured, including date, time, products sold, prices, discounts, and payment methods.

Tallying and Cross-Verification: Perform periodic audits and cross-verify the recorded sales data from the camera footage with the data entered into the software. Identify any discrepancies or instances of undeclared sales that may indicate potential fraud or error.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records and documentation of all audited transactions, discrepancies, and findings, ensuring that all information is organized and easily accessible for reference and analysis.

Report Generation: Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing the audit findings, including any instances of undeclared sales or discrepancies, and submit them to the relevant management or security personnel for further action.

Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales staff, management, and security team to address any identified issues, provide training or guidance on proper sales procedures, and support efforts to enhance transparency and accuracy in financial records.

Compliance and Policies: Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to sales transactions and data entry, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Proficient in data entry and computer applications, with experience using software for recording transactions and generating reports.

Familiarity with surveillance systems and the ability to effectively monitor and interpret camera footage.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and address issues with sales staff.

Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.

Prior experience in retail or auditing positions is preferred.
