Job Description
Evaluate and develop marketing strategies for new products and existing products
Strong understanding of excellence in portfolio building, resource optimization across portfolios, new product launch excellence, product life cycle management, digital marketing and multi-channel marketing.
Review and guide the teams to ensure growth, allocation of resources and rank gain in chosen therapeutic areas/channel
Evaluate inorganic opportunities, licensing to drive portfolio building
Build strong branding capabilities both through organic development and inorganic ways (acquisition of talent/critical competencies. EG - digital marketing)
Strategize to create differentiated as well as consumer oriented marketing capabilities within the derma team
Ensure Continuous cost improvement through back end efficiency (in collaboration with backend teams) and innovative go to market commercial models to help cushion against price erosion in market
Discuss / brainstorm with Marketing, Strategy, Medico Marketing teams to identify gaps in TAs identified for growth
Identify opportunities for growth, identify the right molecules as per relative strength of the division. Provide inputs on prioritization during calendarization of new products launch done by GTMs (in consultation with NPD
Understand the environment, analyses product/market demands and trends to identify opportunities that can be leveraged for the region from Regulatory and IP perspective and select products for development with relevant stakeholders to enhance new product launches and BD deals
Identify products or partners for in/out licensing to widen the product basket along with BD
The Successful Applicant
25 years of expperience in Sales & Marketing in Pharma industry
Experience managing businesses upwards of 800 cr
Experience leading large teams including unionised salesforce
Experience managing acute/mass therapies
