Swimming Teacher

We have an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified and experienced swim teacher to join our swim school at Happy Splash.

We have flexible hours to offer, this can be discussed at interview; we are looking for someone to ideally work either Saturday or Sunday and/or one day during the week.

The school will have exclusive use of the hydrotherapy pool based in Sutton in Ashfield.

Following the Swim England framework you will be required to deliver small sessions for babies and toddlers up to approx. 5 years of age.

We are looking for hard working and experienced swim teachers, flexible working hours are available and can be discussed at interview.

The role:

. Availability to work Wednesdays and Saturday

· To teach swimming in line with The Swim England framework.

· Qualified to ASA Level 2 teaching qualification.

- You will hold the Aquatic Teaching - Baby and Pre-School award.

· You will hold the Aquatic Shallow Water Rescue award as a minimum.

· With at least 3 years experience of teaching young children.

· Up to date with current and modern teaching techniques.

· Responsible for the health and safety in relation to the delivery of the swimming lessons and in line with the pool’s normal operation plan and emergency action plan.

· A knowledge of the Swim England framework would be an advantage.

You will be self employed initially for the first 6-12 months and therefore will be required to provide details of your liability insurance and relevant qualifications.
